stroker27 Posted January 18, 2008 Share Posted January 18, 2008 hey im new to this place.... ive a few different trucks.. some l-10's m-11's, and e-7's. in peterbuilt volvo and mack trucks.ive got an e-7 in a 2000 mack truck that wont start! it turns over just fine and fast enough..(its got new batteries) but it wont fire up... sprayed in some ether and it allllmost started. ive changed the fuel filters and thats about it. can anyone help? fjh Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Is the check engine light on? If so You need to read the codes! Dumb question! IS there fuel in the tanks?If there is try priming the fuel system with the primer pump on the rh front of the engine if you get it to fire but not run doing that replace the transfer pump!If the primer pump feels spongy there is a good posibility that the transfer pump is toast.
