roscoe Posted August 26, 2012 Share Posted August 26, 2012 I have a 2003 ch , started to replace a front windshield but the rubber window channel is different than my last mack. The older ones have a strip you remove then push the window out. The 03 has no strip and a wider channel. So whats the trick to remove the window ? staxx Posted August 26, 2012 Share Posted August 26, 2012 If the window is already broke I push them out with my feet slow stedy pressure and use 1/4 nylon rope and a bottle of soapy water to install . Install glass into rubber gasket and set rope into groove set window and gasket against frame pick a corner to start in have someone help you push on outside of winshield while you pull the rope in use lots of soap water .....good luck the corners get tight so be careful.
