  1. Thank you guys, I will try and pull the pump tomorrow and get things soaking. If the pump is in this condition, is there any reason the injectors would have a problems from sitting? Alex
  2. Hello again drivers, looking for advice on what to do for a thermodyne Injection pump thats stuck at full throttle. I just brought the truck home, and the gentleman that I bought it from said it had sat for a number of years before he got it running, but it was stuck at full throttle. He got the linkage free and it still has the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Alex
  3. Can you guys provide any information on the ETZ 675 engine I have previously described? Even though it was reman'ed in 1985, the engine needs either to get it started. The previous owner stated that he had done it for a year or so before retiring the truck. I also noticed a considerable amount of black engine oil in the supply air tank. I am considering an in-frame rebuild depending on cost of parts. Any thoughts?
  4. NIce! I have some close friends in Danbury. Motivate your son to complete the program, diesel repair is huge and getting even bigger. Our school has all Mack engines for the fuel systems classes. We just did full drive axle removal from a Mack.
  5. Thanks for the help guys, this is the best community with the hardest hitting trucks! After returning home from Combat Outpost Nagil in Afghanistan, I returned home to Mansfield CT. I had the opportunity to attend Lincoln Tech in East Windsor CT, where I am half way through the diesel program, the focus is on over the road trucks. I feel very fortunate or the opportunities I have had over seas, and back home.
  6. Coming right up! What engine and options do you have in yours?
  7. Thanks so much. I am familiar with the M35 air assist units. If I were to try scavenging the scrap yards, any recommendations on what to look for?
  8. I checked the APE number and you are correct on your number. The pump number reads 313G??110BB6
  9. Good evening men, can anyone offer any information on upgrading a non powersteering B61 to power steering? What needs to be changed? And what needs to be added? Dose anyone have any of these parts available? Thanks in advance for your time. Alex
  10. The serial number is 7480. The long number (with a little uncertainty) reads 6BB11016820A1
  11. Will do, thanks. I have a rough pic of the pump tag, I will try and attach it.
  12. Good afternoon all, I have a 1968 U model that has a Pedigreed rebuilt from 1985. The tags do not give a model or HP rating. The part number on the rebuild tag is 11GBA 16957X. The original tag reads that the engine conforms to 1970-78 standards. And it is coupled to a 9sp Overgear transmission. Any help with this would be a greatly appreciated.
