just found this site so I decided to join up . Got my first taste of old iron - when it was kinda new - back in the mid fifties serving as a SeaBee driver/operator in the Pacific . Almost all of our eq and trucks were left over WW2 and Korea units . Worked in heavy highway const , drove 18 wheelers - Macks ,Petes and cornbinders .I'm now 74 sorta retired but still drive a roll back part time . Now I'm gonna look the site over .LFE PS I have a 47 AD PU that I made into a street rod and a 39 Chevy PU me and my youngest son made into a rat rod 4 years ago . About to buy a 62 H model so I will be asking some ? about it .
