  3. Thanks guys...I'm gonna try Delo 400 LE as it on sale..I see which one the truck likes better. Is it ok for me to put synthetic oil on an old fuller speed? RT14609
  4. Hi all, I have a 1986 Mack superliner with a Rebuilt E6-350... I'm trying to debate which oil is better for my engine. On my last oil change I put Mobil Devac and 1 gal of lucas oil additive. Coming up on 5500 miles and ready for the next oil change. Anyway my question is should i stick with mobil delvac or Delo 400LE? also is that valvaline blue any good? Its a gravel truck.... Also I have a fuller 9 speed that i want to change the tranmission oil too...what oil can i use? thanks in advance
  5. Hi all, Im in the process of removing My pump due to a leaks that I have to get fixed. The pump runs great aside from the stupid leaks coming from a couple of the lines where the fittings screw in the pump. I would like to know the proper procedure for removal and installation so that I can put the pump back in proper timing. I have a really good mechanic that will be doing this but, Mack is really not his specialty he deals mainly with international, kenworth, peterbuilts. The pump will go to a diesel injection sevice shop where it will be fixed and recalibrated. So maybe someone can scan a page for me from a service book or somthing. That will be greatly appreciated. ENGINE: is E6-350 (239GB5450P2) PUMP: AMBAC/ AMERICAN BOSCH PUMP P/N M300 PLM450205D (26GB412B)
  6. WHAO...This is a lot aof great info..thanks guys..I was doing some serching and came up with a link that has a picture of what i believe may be my compressor.. The one in the pic says it's a LESTER 3 and mine is a LESTER 5. I wish i knew where i can buy a seal kit for the clutch. Thats where its leaking . you can hear it hissing. Other than that it seems to be work great. http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/590956-york-air-conditioning-compressor-applications.html
  7. ahhh ...cool. well i'm trying to get a seal kit for it. do you think its possible? I'll get some pics and try and find some more information this weekend. So it's probly a york or sanden and has a lester label on it. maybe i can find some more #'s on it.
  8. Hi all, I seem to have a bit of a problem. My AC compressor thats on my 1986 mack superliner (Glider kit) is not very common. It works great but it leaks thru the ac clutch seal area. I cant seem to find any info on this part#. Has anyone even ever head of this brand? LESTER 5 0125526 I have a E6-350 can you atleast tell me what compressor i can buy to replace it? Any info on this so called "lester" brand would be appreciated.
  9. Thanks. It's still a work in progress. still missing stainless sunvisor,2 chrome stacks,etc....wanna make it look Mean! I'll see if can get you some more pics for you scale model.
  10. I never said it was a superliner 2. I'm just trying to say that i thought it was really wierd that i have a superliner1 and the title says 86. God only knows the history of this truck and how it was put together.
  11. And to top it off and really drive you nuts, Mines is a 86 with round head lights. There suppose to be square
  12. I was told that the main reason for that design is so that people can stuff any engine they wanted to in superliners without any problems. People would go buy gliders and put cat, cummins, detroit etc.....Mine is a glider aswell
  13. all taken care of. Found a distributer that will order it for me. 5 day build time from Dana. Alot cheaper then the dealer too. thanks alot guys!!
  14. Well i just got off the ph with Dana and the told me that the OEM# 13KF39304BP5 has been cross referenced to 913618-1. He said i have to locate a dana dealer and try and order it.. Getting closer

  17. Hi guys, I really need a steering shaft for my 86 superliner. It was a real pain trying to find the Mack P/N but i finally found it and now mack is telling me is not even available. The part # is 13KF39304BP5 . any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have attached some pics.
  18. fabbing one up would be extremly easy for me since im a computer designer/programmer. I wish i had a design to go by. I have access to just about every pc of equipment here at work. (laser, turrets, welders, pressbrakes, powder coat line etc....) If any body has some pics or parts list that i would need please let me know. Yea i saw the cabmate ones and they are $800+.. way too much IMO. Thx
