  1. 2005 CV713 Granite, Allison Automatic, 16' Ox Stampede Dump Body.

    HOWDY, all.

  2. I just bought a 2005 Granite CV713, and my Lightning Bolt light comes on when under load. Took to Mack Dealer outside New Orleans, LA, and they put a computer on the truck that said it was a "humidity sensor". I agree with the prior posts... If your dealer cannot tell you what the problem is, the DEALER may be a problem. Either they really DO NOT know (which is not good), OR, they were blowing you off.

  4. Hey folks, Just bought a used 2005 Mack CV 713 Granite tri-axle dump truck with the Allison 6speed automatic transmission. I have a few questions I hope you can answer for me... What kind of fuel economy should I expect? Why does the Lightning Bolt light come on when the truck is carrying a load? What should my gauges be reading while running? Oil Pressure, Coolant temp, Trans temp, etc. The cooling fan seems to come on a lot, and is very loud... Why does the circle with an X light come on after I go down a grade at 55mph??? Any help appreciated. Z
  5. I installed a Cobra 29 CB Radio with a 100 watt Linear Amplifier to the terminals on top of my dash. When I key the microphone on the CB, the lightning bolt light illuminates, then goes off when I let off the mic. Is there a reason for this? Should I hook up the amplifier to a different power source?
