its definetely locked up , mack dealer said this is common when its cold as hell out and u install a new one??? said to drive it a week and c if it frees up some, but this thing was squeeling the belts it was so stiff> tightened belts a bit and gonna drive for a while noisey as hell though and cant b good for the fuel economy never had this on any other truck, guy at mack said those viscouse cluthes are junk right out of the box so i might be swappin it again in a week thanks for any help Jason

changed the fan clutch twice now with brand new from mack still locked up any ideas??? its a viscouse clutch on a 94 rd e7 350 mechanical is there a senser somewhere?? if so how does the clutch get a signal without a wire or airline?? got me puzzeled anyone heard of this both clutches were brand new also changed waterpump during first go around no prob yet, used special mack bolts too. thanks Jason

Superliner 1 or superliner 2 ? The bumpers are different.
dunno its a 1990 613 4 valve, its a project truck just tryn to get her together, really need that top grill bezel job but aint gonna give 850 to watts 4 it, thats crazy money, only got 2600 in the truck she runs good and dont look half bad exept the bumper and grill top

need the top chrome piece for my superliner grill, mine is all dented up can the dealer get me 1 or is that a bone yard part? also a front chrome bumper would be nice as mine is ruined

just joines site today, anyone have any suggestions for finding a used frame and rears for a 82 rd? double frame rotted and swolen beyond repair and bad bogiies (ie tires rubbing frame when turning) from the cab forward is a great clean truck 400 mack 12 speed, nice cab front frame, also anybody know if the engine and trans and cab will slide into a 85 dm if the rd is not worth fixing?

need a long set of frame rails for a 82 rd with or with out rears anyone got anything that would work?? need to reframe or cut and splice my log truck and dont want to get a new frame or spend that kind of money also the trunion bushing is whooped so rears would be a easy swap to or just rebush mine for 2 grand thanks Jason 216 347 0933
