  1. 5 in straight pipe exhaust dump. This thing is loud and barks when then jake is on. Almost done lastest pictures: 57 right side.bmp 557 front complete.bmp 557 left side.bmp
  2. no swivel, looked at that option but it makes the dump hang down lower running the risk of hitting the portable pond. We are going to have a 90* chute to slide on.
  3. Yeah not real thrilled with the chevron on the back but it is required. It will be ready for late next week. Finishing up the details and off to the Lettering guy for some stripe details. It's been a long journey getting this thing built.
  4. new picture latest update mack body1.bmp
  5. Finally got the body in from the manufacturer. Sorted out some details with my builder yesterday. pictures to follow
  6. No. I originally was headed in that direction but found a full poly body with a lifetime warranty. It's really lite weight. The engineering staff at UPF in Massachusetts designed the body for my chassis. Spec the weight distribution and believe it or not they claim the truck with a 3000gal tanker, driver and equipment will scale out at 43,200 vs a gross of 52,000. With that being the case this truck should "roll" nicely.
  7. It seems funny when you drive by Georgia pacific now. Just the office building left standing. Hopefully nothing, plan for the light bar is to fabricate a mount off the front of the body as I will have a gap between the cab and body due to the stack.
  8. updated picture waiting for the body to arrive.
  9. Yes you are correct Botsford, CT.aka Newtown It will have a 450gpm pump., quik dump on rear, 3000 gal. portable pond. She's meant to be a workhorse to haul water effectively. Not going to be a parade queen but will be nice when complete.
  10. Lastest picture and it is safety Pierce yellow and white as with all of our trucks. Updated Pic's 1/21/11
  11. Just putting of some pic's of the new tanker at the body shop. Beginning stages of build. New 3000 gal poly body due in Feb. Truck is a 04' CH613 427 10speed.
