  1. It's in Kent Washington, it hasn't been fired in over a year, been sitting 2 years with a leaky sleeper boot and vent, and now the weather is getting bad out that way unless you plan on going down thru California.Nope 9k is not bad if you can put it on a train, a truck, or go out there and make it roadworthy to drive somewhere. Believe me I am tempted the better half is furious saying I already have enough projects, junk laying around, and I haven't raked the leaves yet. I can just imagine how much water damage is inside of that truck's interior, air system, and more than likely the fuel system. Too much work for me at the moment besides my shop is crammed full as it is.
  2. There's a Beautiful Black 1988 Superliner in Washington State E-9 400 T-2090 Standup/Walkin all aluminum, Turbo wing, Merrit headache rack/boxes all decked out for grabs. It has been sitting for 2 years and only started once in the last year and the sleeper boot and roof have been leaking. I got her down to $9000 on it, I just don't have the time or patience to take thing apart and go through it all. if any of you might be interested I can forward you about 50 pictures of it. She's wanting to sell it real bad because they're tired of paying storage on it. I got them down from $13,000 I don't think they'll go any lower but you never know.
  3. I just got off of the phone with the owner and got them down to $9000.00. They need to sell it bad it's in a storage place. Boy I'd like to snatch up on it but I'm afraid I'd have over $20k in it to make it roadworthy again.
  4. Just received an email from the owner and about 50 pics. It's a nice truck but has been sitting in that climate up there and looks like a lot of moisture got inside of it. What a shame. They also claim that the original truck owner rebuilt the engine, trans., and rears before they bought it. The hourmeter in one of the pics is showing 9975hrs and odometer is showing 2**,*** which they claim are not actual. I wouldn't think an engine, etc. would need rebuilt after 200k to 300k miles.
  5. You would think if those were "actual" miles that the engine would have some life in it yet. If those miles are accurate then that would be a nice truck to get your hands on.I noyiced on another website ad the truck was going for 20k. It had a different photoshot of the front and the grill appeared to have quite a bit of oil sprayed, leaked or?? on it. Not saying it was engine oil but something sure stuck out. Was the E-9 and air to air motor?
