RB Mack.Hi, They were NZ only. R series with set back front axle, the bonnet was made here, done by local Mack dealer and importer Motor Truck Distributors.Similar set up to the Aussie set back axle Value Liner, no v8 version here though.

Thankyou All, I'm enjoying the site alright, all the different configurations, models etc that have never been here in NZ are fascinating, always have and probably will always be biased towards the dog.

Hi All, I am an owner operator here in New Zealand. We have a CH Mack truck and trailer, we carry bulk aggregates, coal, fertilizer etc around the mid and upper north island here. I am a mechanic by trade, have over 30 years in the transport industry. I would like to restore at some stage an R700 with the 375v8. I will post some photo's etc once I have managed to learn how to navigate this site.Regards, John H.

Short Description: Hi spec for then with air con, elec lh window, full trim and sleeper. 375 v8 with allison auto, had large winch fitted shifted drilling rigs, machinery etc for Ministry of works geothermal division. Not mine, I just love it, it is now with a collector who is only the 2nd owner.
