  1. I knew there was someone else with an air hammer. I was probably 25 years of working alone before I got a notion to try a flat nose bit on a hydraulic fitting. Had used hammers before that when I could. But the air hammer is nice! Haven't tried it on the tie rod ends yet but now I have some inspiration, thank you! Guess I should add that I haven't hurt a fitting but you could damage one if you don't think to use a little finese.

    On frozen clutch adjusters. I know this will get me in deep do here. I have gotten them hot and sprayed water into the clutch. Engine off and engine on. Banged the pedal several times. It was messy as heck but it worked when nothing else seemed to do. I thought with it hot and the shocking, well it did and the long term was fine. After getting that thing moving I sprayed some PB Blaster in there. I know I am nuts. They are still going.
