    transmission repair: i was wrong about the trans being a tr107 . I cralled my butt and looked at the location where i believe rob said to search and lo and behold the trans is a r700. sorry about the mis information, but thank you for the information and input that was posted.

    Yes a transmission was located the parts were donated.On your pinion shaft question I will need to ask our fire chief about the remainder of the tr107.

    we have a 1971 mack cf600 fire truck engine is a cf685f and the transmission went need to find either the parts or new/rebuilt transmission we dont know what the model # is on the transmission
