The boys from All States have this contract.  I haven't crossed the river or been up north much this spring to see what PII has lined up for projects.

Just thought of a fun question, did Milo really have a purple Lamborghini?

As far as I know yes and his house on the mountain turned with the sun!

Every so often I try to move this rock on the back forty.  Haven't made much progress...  It ain't the Granite State for nothing!

Saw same milling down the street this morning.  They had the Wirtgen wound right up!

Hang in there Jim I think you’ll get there! I wonder if it was my old mill you saw.

Nice Tim, congrtas. Nice to be appreciated for your work. How's it going over there?

Any disruptions to your operations from this covid 19 stuff?

Our highway job is going pretty much as normal. But it is still a pain trying to get groceries or meals out on the road. Still reduced hours, and purchase limits and stuff.

    Bullheaded,

Thank you very much 8000 employees and one big happy Family. As far as the covid we are one level 2 which means pubs and restaurants open and you sanitise and sign in before entering. Work for me is 4 ten hour days. Three days off woot woot! Winter hours. Glad you are working and keeping the ball rolling. Hang in there. Hopefully it will get better soon.

Hey!  Glad you found that.  I set it down and just couldn't remember where I had left it...

Ha Jim, stop leaving your stuff everywhere! Well we are at the Luggate quarry now. No steel in this raw feed. Found this rock that my 27 Ton loader did not like.

Thanks Bob, it was very nice. Wish they used one of the other pics I sent. This one was after 70 hour week and a 6.5 hour drive. Was pretty nackered. This one would have been better! Ha

    Yikes!

Would rather find some left over gold in the tailings!

    Jim, I keep looking!

Yup. There must be a different kind of metal. What a missfortune !!!

Vlad the hammers are cast so any hard steel does them in.

  7. This pin went through last year and I found it in the returns conveyor. The steel ball was the pin that smashed everything.

we have magnets but sometimes this stuff will go through and you can spot everything.

  8. When crushing 100 plus year old gold dredging, you never know what you’ll find. Last year had a pin got through and destroy all 4 hammers and two smash plates.
Yesterday this piece. 6 inches wide. 2 inches thick by 2 1/2 feet long. It got spat out luckily and flew 15 feet past the hopper. Reason one not to load directly behind the crusher.

Well worked out better than expected. I got a really nice kitchenette room in a town one hour away from the job. A very nice couple from Wisconsin bought a motel up here and totally renovated it, so it is all new. Very nice place and very nice people. The Outdoorsman in Wawa, Ontario.

Still ice on the small lakes and it snowed today. Was nice the first part of the week though.

Saw a Superliner still working, pulling a possum belly wood chip trailer. My mission is to get a pic. Also saw an IH 9670 cabover cattle hauler today too.

More impressed with my little DD13 505/1850. It is getting stronger as it breaks in. Pulls like a champ and I am averaging 5.4 US MPG working all day in constant hills loaded both ways, and I get 6.4 on the hour run back to the nearest town. Not disappointed in going to a smaller motor. No regens so far.

I'm the black 2020 in the middle.

Nice looking part of the country. Beats working in the city. The motel is nice too. Be safe!

Full syncro, used to call them banana boxes back in the day

They must be fairly different to drive because a lot of Road Ranger fellas broke them pretty quick lol

I think they are a good box if you know how to handle them

I have never driven one ,neighbours growing up had them on logging for many many years and thats who told me all about them, they must have worked out fine as they bought more

    Paul

Thanks Paul for the info. Three holes and reverse is what I call it 😂
