Yea cooler is bad. Replacing it in the morn. What should I use to flush oil from cooling system? Someone advised cascade. Would this hurt anything?
-
Okay. Thanks for the reply.
-
Any ideas?
-
I've got oil in my water tank on firewall. Safe to say cooler is leaking, orwould this be more serious? 1,265,000 on a 2000 427. Hasen't been rebuilt.
-
Gets straight to the point huh.
-
What specs are you looking for?
I know it's a 427, but is it an AI or what. Would like to look at torque curve as well.
-
Where can I find the specs for my engine??
-
How's the new wagon workin for ya????

The CHN, CXN, CHU, and CXN with 10.47" frame rails (built March 19, 2001 and later) uses 4 7/8" +/- 1/8". Make sure of which suspension you have. There are 10 different suspensions that ride height specifications are given for (including the Hendrickson Airtek front axle suspension).
I've got a 2000 CX613. Frame is just over 10". Don't know exact type, but it is hendrickson.
-
Not quite the same. The spring will sit inside of a bracket that sits on top of the axle housing, so the distance to the top of the axle will be greater. I believe I forgot to mention that there is an 1/8" tolerance to the specification.
I believe I've got smaller frame rails. Would I use the same measurement?
-
Mack says 4 1/4" for 11.81" wide frame rails and Mack AL and AL II air suspension (Hendrickson HA/HAS). Measured with chassis unloaded, at the front axle housing, from the bottom flange on the frame rail to the bottom of the main support member on the spring.
Would this be the same as measuring from frame to top of axel??

I've entertained the idea of replacing my 48' float with a drop deck. Have you noticed a rate differance yet?
-
Ahhh, I see you finally delivered my boat. Thanks Bigun.

Thanks HK, Is this a normal seal replacement, or would the pump need replaced?

Hey guys, What would cause my power steering resovor to pressurize? It's not blowing dipstick out, rather seeping out of top. This is on a 2000 427 Vision. thanks.

The big red P dashlight that comes on when you set the parking brake.
Today I was drving down the road 70 mph and the big red P flashed.
When I release parking brake on the tractor if I don't push the valve hard and straight it leaks air inside the dash. I can reset parking brake and push in hard and straight and release and it will be fine. Could this have anything to do with the big red P flash while driving down the road?
Or is the flash just a hiccup?
I've got a 2000 vision. There's a pressure swithc above brake pedal for this. Don't think it has anything to do with yellow vlv leaking. My switch just started leaking and big P stayed on.

thanks, seems the cable guide, or whatever is pushing the window up is not moving freely.
-
I have a 2000 vision with electric windows. Motor is shot. How would I manually get the window up?
-
ok, thanks. i'll replace cable and let you guys know how it turns out.

I disconnected the clutch cable, worked easy. The shaft through bellhousing and throughout is well greased. Still hard to press. Even blew air into clutch assembly, then drenched the clutch and pressure plate with a light oil, still no good result. I'm thinking there may only one other way to find this one.
-
I knew Rob knows some thing about the clutch issue, also I would ask you how much free play dose your clutch pedal and clutch fork has?

i have a 2000 vision 427. My clutch is adjusted, but it suddenly very hard to push the pedal. Any ideas?
