It has a Scania model DS8 (Mack designation E4-210). Great engine, like most, when properly maintained. The Scania centrifugal filter certainly kept the oil clean. No cartridge to buy, just clean it out and reinstall. It prompted us to create "Centrimax" for the Mack engines.
Morgan Millwork ran a huge fleet of R487P straight trucks on the east coast. They loved them.
Any information on the trans?

This truck has been for sale for over a year, they just recently moved it away from the road. I thought maybe it had finally sold but guess not

Where did you get the bumper? I ordered an aftermarket 1 a few years back and had to send it back. The fit was awful. Yours looks great

107 on 6 axles and 117 on 7 axles. Most guys that run 117 have 4 axle trailers, but there are a few that have 4 axle tractors with tri axle trailers.

I've had 2 hours sleep in the last 24. The plan above was so successful that I'm going to see if I can perfect it today.
This seems to happen daily around here. Makes for a long night of driving

Here's a teaser picture. On the way back home the single axle U model was on the side of the Turnpike with a blown left steer tire and the green b81 dump was tooling in the slow lane. Awesome show.
Nice!

Took the R to its first job today. Truck ran great and had decent power. Kept trying to find that 3rd pedal that's missing
