Good Afternoon, New member here and just wanted to say I really enjoyed looking at the pictures under this topic. My grandfather worked for White Oak for a lot of years and I enjoyed seeing pictures all the b models. I saw a few pictures of trucks from Farmington Ready Mix. I drove that Mack DM that was pictured for them back in early 2003, I used to haul stone from Tilcon back to Farmingtons batch plant, and hauled broken chunks of concrete to their Westfield Ma plant. I do have a question for you all and I hope I’m posting in the right form. Do any of you remember Torrington Scrap Inc. based out of Torrington, they used to run Mack DM load luggers and a couple GMC general roll offs. They closed up shop in the late 90’s, I think they were bought out by Schiavone out of North Haven. Now that I’m in my late 40’s as a hobby I build 1/25 scale models of trucks. For my next project I would like to recreate a model of the Mack tractor my Uncle used to drive for Torrington Scrap. I am looking for a picture of one of their trucks and more specifically Torrington Scraps logo. I remember it being red and black, but my memory is fuzzy being it was 35 years ago when I used to go for rides in his truck. I would like to try and recreate 1/25 decals for the truck doors. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
