  1. Thanks guys looking at the pics I think the yellow red be the better fit for what I’d do , I noticed the green pics was set up like a w900 hard mount on the front of the bunk with. The rear on air. I know my uncles 1990 w900 was set up like that.
  2. Roger that. Thanks guys Gives me a good idea now what to look for to mate them. Which sleeper hole did they run the Mack v or the small kenworth one ? I know I got to find either I think I might be able to down size a unibuilt one to fit the kenworth hole on that bunk
  3. Hi all. Question to put out there. The auzzie Mack’s that had areodyne bunks on them how was the bunk mates to the cab. With a sub frame then put on air? Or was it just hard mount? Looking at the pictures of them and looking for some advice before I mate mine.

  7. Hey all. I’ve had a passion for old Mack trucks. My dad hauled logs in the 80’s and I grew up riding shot gun in An 86 r600 hauling logs. But there has always been a favourite old Mack better than an old R. a Rw superliner. One with a 500v8. Dad told me stories about those old dogs how they pulled and their insane amount or raw power so I’ve scoured where I’m from looking for one and found my dream in a junk yard. He was parked 15 years. Due to low oil pressure, so I traded 35 tons scrap for him. Pulled the oil pump found tore o rings for the cooling jets and the relief valve plunger was scorn and sticking, polished the bore and the plunger put him back together and tada. Had 70 psi. What a bargain, I was sent to Australia with the military and seen the Aussie superliners, I was shocked when I seen an areodyne 1 bunk on one I thought the match was amazing after I got back home I’ve been searching all over canada and the us for a bunk and found one he’s a work in progress my objective is to make him Look like the last photo that was one I found on the net due to I didn’t have a camera in Australia but I’m thinking different color. Hope you like the story of ole thumper be nice to put him bad to work on the farm! if anyone has drove the V8s I’d love to hear from you the in’s and outs heard they like to break head bolts any one know the reasons? Has anyone ever done head studs? As I restore him I’ll post more pics cheers
