  1. Hello, I'm checking on this forum if there is anyone that has tried using Dinex Nox sensors as a replacement for Mack Nox sensor? I am currently testing them and have conflicting information if my SCR is bad or I am using a bad Dinex Nox sensor and need to go with only Mack OEM sensors. I was hoping there is an aftermarket Nox sensor that is competitve.
  2. Thank you Joey Mack, I have a local Heavy equipment repair man that I'm working with. Would you or one of the other men on here know what part numbers I need? That was super helpful last time when the part number was put on here. My VIN is 1M1AW09Y6DM028704
  3. This first picture shows the bridge on the bad valve washer and the next is one of the other Exhaust brake bridges.
  4. Hello, I have a 2013 Mack CXU 613 with an engine tick, Upon inspection I found that the #3 engine brake valve spring washer is cracked. The bridge sits down hard on that washer unlike the other engine brake valve bridges that have a small clearance. I will send a few pictures for reference but my question is, what is the procedure for repairing this before it lets go of my valve and ruins the piston. ~Lamar
  5. Update. Replacing the horizontal oil thermostat with part number 23871486 cleared up my code. Thank you, The Heinz, for the info! ~Lamar
  6. Thank you! I will replace it and give a reply if that fixed it. Lamar
  7. Hello, I have 2015 Mack CXU613 that has a SPN 4813 FMI=3 code showing up occasionally. It says Engine oil thermostat bypass valve opening, voltage above normal or shorted to high source 70. If someone has experience or knowledge on how to repair this I'd appreciate a little feedback. Lamar
  8. Thanks Mackpro! Exactly what I wanted to know. I have the eaton fuller 13 speed trans in these 2 trucks. 1 is a 2013 and 1 is a 2015. Could I get connected with you or someone that you know does this?
  9. Is there anyone else with experience on increasing the horsepower in the tier 4 MP8? Thanks!
  10. Had the same issue on an international 9200 ISX 500 and after changing the turbo and VGT and CAC and scratching my head for almost a year I finally figured out it was a bad delete program on the ECM. Reflashed the ECM and havn't had that problem since.
  11. Just wondering if it is still stock on the program and turbo?
  12. I think the high charge would make us a little shy. We've checked with our local Vomac dealer three times in a 3 year period and the answer is always the same. Can't do it. Was wondering if Mackpro would be able to help out with something like that at his location or had some advice. I think I read on an older thread that he has done some of it in the past.
  13. Thanks for the reply Heinz, it confirms some of my thoughts on dealership ability to help with power uprates. Are all dealers in the same box, so to speak? Are there any others out there with knowledge or experience on power ugrades on a full emissions MP8?
  14. Hello, I have a 2013 and a 2015 Pinnacle CXU 613 and they are both rated as 415C on the engine plate. We haul heavy and I've noticed that there are MP8's with 505C on the engine tag. I'm wondering what the most practical option is for getting more HP since it would be very useful with our logs and logging equipment that we haul. I would prefer getting them to 505 but I think I have heard or read that you need to change cams and injectors to get into that category. These trucks have the original emmisions intact and I prefer to keep it that way. I did hear that there are tunes that will burn better and be less trouble for the emmisions system. I'd be interested in that as well. If there is anyone that could get me started down the right track I'd appreciate it. Lots of voices out there. Experience is better than opinion in my book. Thanks!
