  1. Thanks hon. I’ll see if I can run down another motor but I don’t know. I just ordered the compressor. It’s $1600.13 something for the gear or for the compressor and 195 for the gear but gotta do it.
  2. Thanks guys I’m workin on getting the compressor now Heinz when I get it I’ll get it from you you have busted ur ass helping me that’s the least I can do can you see if you all can get that filter assembly or I’m gonna have to rob it from another motor

Your not the only one that hasn’t seen one I had said a day or so ago the guy that works on all the trucks where I’m leased on hadn’t ever seen one either all those superdumps are like 07 08 newest is a 22 some have mp8 in them not sure about the rest I can’t see diagram control valve is the one with the silver barrel on top that feeds the actuator on the turbo correct? When they removed that they just looped the airlines around thru this I’ll send pic and down the frame somewhere haven’t found its destination yet control Valve is tucked behind steering arm see the valve with the red hose coming out the top red deal on the front of it they just made a loop from control valve to that and out agin towards back of
  5. I cut the (new) suspension off an old hawker truck about in a field took 6 hrs took 6.5 to 7 days to get bad off and out good on .. am I not clear on what that fitter does am I just missing the boat ? It stops oil and shit from getting in the actuator on the turbo ?

Ya that’s what I thought I can show you how they rerouted the air lines around it my thoughts on all this was hienz ran down all the turbo info and prices I’m grateful I got good pics from you on what it’s supposed to look like now I can put the diagrams to the pics and make some sense of things.. so my options at this point are new compressor because I honestly believe that all the oil in the airlines is causing a lot of the problems granted the damage is done but if I run clean air start replacing air lines get that filter I’ll have to get the whole set up only thing still on the block are the holes where it was that could prevent further damage to the vgt and everything else that requires air to operate correctly and might prolong the turbo shittin on me for a little longer until I can swing a new turbo so far I’m down around 9000 suspension tires brakes steering gear box
  7. I see there are 2 holes in block where it should be I thought it kept oil out of turbo
  8. That vgt filter that has been removed doesn’t that filter the oil out of the air that runs to the actuator on the turbo or am I way off
  9. Ok I’m finally home pouring out so I’m reading joes literature .. I see a lot of things I don’t believe are on the engine anymore lol but I’ll look again. So here’s what I can do I believe I can get a new compressor and I’m gona try and locate the oil collector assembly to put back on the motor run it back thru the filter system with clean air I’m probably gona go thru the filters they are expensive but gotta do it I may be able to swing the turbo in any other month but may all 3 kids b days same month lol thoughts?
  10. Yes, I appreciate everyone of you very much. I’ve been kind of out of the loop today some I’ve been trying to work and deal with my dad Hines man fantastic. It doesn’t matter that we couldn’t do it. What matters is that you tried so hard Joe and fjh guys, I can’t thank you enough. Everybody’s just going above and beyond to try to help me a lot. Means the world to me and I hope you’ll continue if I have questions and if you ever need me for anything you got it I’ll do everything I can thank you

  12. Ya I see what your saying about just replace the whole thing I’ll see what I can do I more than likely will have to fit the bill at minimum just getting dad to and from treatment just cross fingers guys cause tomorrow they test him for Parkinson’s he’s only 67 ☹️
  13. Thank you, Hines and Joey, fjh the stuff with my dad got me a little sideways. I can’t even think straight so you think I need an entire turbo not just the actuator. I know you probably told me somewhere in the reading already. I said I can’t even think appreciate your hard work this damn truck running like a scalded dog today only puff smoke a couple times maybe the calm before the storm

Ya it’s runnin right out of that valve over the engine into the actuator if I could get my hands on that filter assembly I could put it back on I’d say look at this pick u see close to firewall that skinny valve with red knob on it it’s looped thru that instead of goin thru the filter assembly red knob red hose goin to it

Joey Mack, it’s getting its air from this there is a line running from this valve to the actuator that black line right there probably used to come out of the filter that has vanished they just looped it back into the mixt.. there is another kinda skinny inline valve with a red stopper lookin thing on it this one loops to that one from the skinny one down the frame they just diverted it and bypassed the filter.. finding out about compressor tomorrow hopefully this week installed then we start cleaning night fellas

Ya we now know what we are up against at least I figure maybe if I get the new compressor on and just try and keep running it it will push some of the oil out also I will start replacing air lines as I go along I’ll just buy a roll of plastic line and use it up the other things I was thinking do u guys know much about the big bear e7 motors I have seen them reasonably priced compared to what I’m used to with cat motors but just being honest I sold out my last last rd tractor sold last June I took all my doe paid stuff off we had a family disaster at home I had to move quick here we are truck has to run so we eat but it needs so much .. no quit in me we will get it done

To self check I need a boost gauge correct what ur saying makes total sense if it’s not setting right it won’t run right what’s odd is it’s all the way extended bottomed out usually when truck is off it is up so the sticking thing makes sense too can I reinstall that filter set up and will you all tell me what lines need to run to it if I do

Sorry guys I had to breathe a bit I was getting pissed off not at you all by no means just frustrated I got excited when I thought we where on to something with the filter and bummed that it’s gone .. so I know that this is not ideal but I’ve done it before I’m gona take compressor half apart and clean it and run alcohol or brake clean through the air lines and try to get some of the oil pushed out I have ordered a new remaned compressor with no filter I gotta have clean air do you all agree on that for sure
