  1. I had seen the Same one on Truckpaper over 20yrs ago, white/yellow,gold & red frame. Idk if Joseph's owned it @ the time, however, i did see it on his page this past year. Shocked to see an addl two in his inentory, however, they won't return correspondence?

I browsed this page prior to registering, idk how old the listings were, but there was a couple. Beautiful ex. in Texas & a 54 with a 400. These are the only listings I've seen in 30yrs (online at least). It's worth a shot.

    Thank you, Dan.

Beautiful Project & Thank you, this is the 1st anyone has taken the time to explain.

I need to become a member of ATHS ideally prior to moving forward on anything in this class. If you or anyone cares to answer, I'm also wondering when Cummins went to 855 CI Motors?

I'm mixing up Small & Big Cams, hp, etc. To my understanding: (The 743's: 220/250/262/275?)

Thank you, to all the above.

what do you have to give somebody who has one entirely intact, original yellow paint but  covered with moderate tree sap, 2 transmissions from the factory, frame with all original rivets (no bolts or alterations), original rears , and newer 220 Cummins that ran 10 yrs ago when the idiots....I mean kids.....burnt the clutch.......asking for a friend

Thank you! .. again, extremely inexperienced & little time, I do have the help local Co. here willing to store/restore. As far as Value: I really have no idea, ie, All Original or to the contrary. The above possibly sounds like a great LTL to start with but I would have to ask & rely strictly on what it's worth for them to part with?

Thank you, please keep me posted.

  4. Preferably Drivable, or at least Runs, to Restored.

Idk if they ever came with Thermodyne's?, usually seen equipped with Small Cam Cummins, but won't discredit anything ..

    Thank you. Regards, Dan.

  5. "The Freeway Maniac" .. B Side 1989 Film.

It's pretty bad. 39 Mins In, The Finest & Best Sounding LTL I've seen. Whoever made this film must have been an enthusiast, as there's several shown throughout. If anyone can tolerate it, please give it a look, I would love to know what Motor is in this. The full movie is on YouTube, link attached. Thank you.

  6. Greetings, I'm Daniel from MI & new to the Forum.

I do not belong to ATHS, inexperienced, etc, however, a long time Enthusiast of LTL's, Small Bore Cummins & Thermodyne's. "Wanted: 50's LTL"

There is a lot of ground to cover here, but This is Beautiful! .. Can anyone explain what a 420 Cummins is?

Thank you & pleased to be here. Best Regards, Daniel.
