  1. Thank you all for your counsel. It resulted in being short to ground, as JoJo stated. That was outside the cabin, where the windshield wipers rest. We hired a technician that used one of those power probes and waved it around the wiring. And it would make a noise when it detected a short. Now we are going to buy our own power probe because we still have a faulty temperature gauge. Again a sincere appreciation for yalls time, attention, and knowledge.
  2. Disconnected all the terminals and found that J3 terminal of the VECU when plugged back in 1 by 1 was responsible for the red shutdown light to function. Now when we turn the key the red shutdown light doesnt stop ringing. It lets us turn it on but shuts down seconds after. What did yall want us to do with VECU
  3. we had a technician come out when all this started and the only code that showed was an engine speed sensor. That was changed and the problem continued of turning on and shutting off moments later.
  4. No we did not. We both have been busy with work. He ended up buying it at the Dealer. And still has the same problem of it shutting down after a minute or so with red shutdown light blasting the whole time
  5. I have been shopping around for the Oil Pressure Sensor for MACK E7 64MT2115. My local MACK quotes me $200 out the door. But the links below have it for half the price and want to make sure they are MACK and not aftermarket. We really prefer to purchase a MACK sensor than an aftermarket. Unless yall advise differently. https://www.woodlineparts.com/products/pai-fsu-0558-mack-64mt2114-oil-pressure-sensor-e7-e-tech-aset https://www.heavydutypros.com/mack-oil-sensor-64mt2114.aspx https://advancetruckpartsusa.com/products/64mt2114-oil-pressure-sensor-for-mack-volvo
  6. The red shutdown light above the oil and temp gauge was flashing when all this started. Now it doesn't flash just shutdowns No we don't have an external gauge.
  7. We just came back from a test drive, and it's still shutting down. I think we will have to replace that oil pressure sensor from the picture.
  8. The engine malfunction light is not connected. We had a technician come out and plug into the ECU and only found a speed sensor that needed replacing. We recently removed what I think is the oil pressure sensor 'red circle in the pic' and blew some air into it and cleaned it. As of right now the truck starts and stays on but the engine temp, RPMs, and Speed gauges are not responsive.
  9. I also failed to mention that we were getting the flashing red light that does the ENGINE PROTECTION/SHUTDOWN
  10. We took off the top one because that's the one clicking when we turn the key. But well check the rest of those cubes I have the fuse panel; I just took it off for the pictures. And for some reason, it doesn't let me upload photos any only a small size. we will clean up that EPDM
