  1. I like the Shutterstat and an additional switch on the dash idea. I’m going to try that, I’m hoping the computer likes that idea too.
  2. Thank you all for the ideas, I sure will be glad when this one is figured out.
  3. I’m pretty sure there’s an entire harness plugged into it. I’m thinking there may be a way to wire it off a thermal switch but I have a call into Kit Masters to see if they offer a solution. I know the older trucks that didn’t have any computers had a way to turn the fan on and off. Surely there’s a way.
  4. Where would I get the signal from to tell it to turn on?
  5. Mackpro, that’s exactly what I’m running into. Freightrain, Mackpro too, the air conversion kit came with a solenoid that would accept an existing plug on the truck. I’m wondering why I couldn’t just put the fan on a clutch or could it be possible to find someone that can go into the computer and switch it over to air from electric?
  6. 2011 CHU613 MP8 1. Fan clutch failed so I bought the kit masters air conversion kit, is there a way to get that installed and the computer told to switch over to air without going to Mack because mine is deleted and they say the new update will do away with the delete tunes? 2. All of my emissions is still on the truck and plugged in but the truck is deleted, can I unplug and remove everything to run a straight pipe or what has everyone else done?
  7. I’m trying to locate a front differential. Model CDRL150 with 4.19’s. I’m located in central Texas.
  8. Ok good. I am hoping this truck lasts a while. Any experience converting the fan clutch to air?
  9. What kind of mileage did they have on them when that happened? I only have 84,000 on mine.
  10. The sticker says 415 horsepower but the original computer died and I had the shop put theirs on it because it was tuned for the deletes but the horsepower setting is unknown. I’d guess mid 400’s. I was after the Mack file so I didn’t have to worry too much about the EGT’s.
  11. I have, I’ve been looking at that one and another one I came across. I’d like to hear from someone that’s used them before I buy one, though. I gross 84k stopping and starting all day long so I want to make sure I don’t lose my reliability.
  12. I’m sure it’s been asked several times on here but to save myself time trying to find it does anyone know how I could get the big horsepower and torque tune for my 2011 MP8? It’s deleted and would rather not go through the dealership if at all possible.
