They do enough work to make them NY trucks.
Anybody have any more pics of B. Anthony's trucks?? I did a big job with them over 15 years ago and remember some awesome trucks. Trouble is, I never took any pics!!

Thankfully my family that lives in the Mohawk Valley didn't get hit too bad, but I am sending my 92 year old grandmother a boat!
-
I blew up the pic and the sign says No HORNS Please. That might be the only Quadrozzi truck left as they sold off most if not all of their 690s mixers.

I hope the plant is close by for that job!! Or no inspectors on the job.
-
I didnt take any. I don't know why.
Always take pics!!! New Macks will one day be the old Macks. Utica Mack always seem to have good stuff in the lot when I stop by.

Feel free to post other Granite snow plows here if you'd like.

Here's the Scaccia DM800 as it sat in Quadrozzi's Rockaway yard in 2010.

Have any pictures of the DM800 mixer next to them?
I have a shot of that mixer in Quadrozzi's Rockaway boneyard I will post soon. Former Scaccia mixer
-
Unbelievable!!! Look at all those DM800s!! Who's ready for a Haitian Truck Hunt with me?? Pending the UN escort!!
-
maybe your right. was down that way about a month off Vly road and i thought they were still there. i know the Macks were and the Brockways.
That's the one I was at, Vley Road in Scotia. If you are in the area and are able to stop by, it would be great to really know what's going on with that great boneyard they have (had).
-
god those R800's are awesome. Cranesville block has a few old ones in their yard in Scotia. everything is for sale. they hav a list now on their website of trucks for sale. all the old mixers. i talked to one of the guys last summer and said i was a day late and dollar short. they just scrapped 6 B models. three mixers and three dump trucks,. all B61's and B53's i think. click
http://www.cranesville.com/history.php# then go to the History heading and equipment for sale. there is a whole list. i think they junked everything pre 65 already.
Sorry to say but most all of those trucks are gone at Cranesville. I was there in 2010 and everything was still there, but if you look at a recent Google Map image, the whole boneyard has nearly been cleaned out. There was only 1 DM800 I found in that entire lot.

Check out the Hess truck..
Awesome!!! Hess definitely made a Freightliner look tough with their paint scheme and big red spokes.
-
Oh my!! Look at that Cruiseliner!! With spokes too!
-
CCI also has a killer Superliner tractor they use with a lowboy. I did a few jobs with them and when the Superliner came on site, you knew it!

Cardi Corp
in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
Posted
Back in May I went on a truck hunt throughout NYC and New England. Cardi Corp was on top of the list. They didn't disappoint. Amazing the amount of Macks they still run, and less than half a dozen new ones in the fleet.
