  1. So it does have the 673t but I’m sure what the road ranger is. The transmission is a Mack 10 speed and I believe the model of the transmission is a TRD(L) 722(0). I’ll definitely be posting more pics in the future as I get around to cleaning it up and fixing things.
  2. Thanks! I love oilfield trucks too, and logging trucks.
  3. Lol yea It’s been a busy winter but I’m still kicking around.
  4. I acquired this Mack last year in 2022 and finally got to go for a little drive last weekend. It was short and didn’t get to go real fast but damn did me and my 11yr old have fun. Can’t wait to get her out on the road and take her for a real test drive. I remember going to work with my dad and riding around in big trucks when I was a kid and to own a truck and have a kid that loves this stuff as much as I do is such an awesome experience.
  5. fixing those seats is going to be one of the first things I do. Hopefully the seat still functions well so I can use and keep this thing as original as possible
  6. Thanks. Just waiting for the weather to clear and find some time to transport it to the shop then I’ll get after all of that.
  7. You should post up some pics of the interior when you get a chance.
  8. I looked around and I could replace the air cleaner but I think I’m just going to keep the setup I have. I want it to look as original as possible so I think I’m just gonna keep it. I was hoping for a trick to modify the current housing but I don’t want to alter anything to much.
  9. Seeing how I plan on keeping it all stock then I might just leave it the way it is. Keeps with the authenticity.
  10. It’s gonna be awhile before I’m worried about white gloves. I plan on taking it to shows so just gonna concentrate on getting it there first.
  11. Well I’m glad it’s the lighter green, because I don’t like that dark color at all.
  12. Has anyone modified the oil bath air cleaner? I like the look and don't want to get rid of that setup but would like to add an actual filter. Just wondering if anyone had some ideas.
  13. 😳I’m not sure the difference. Guess I’ll have to look more into that. Thanks for the info.
  14. Ok thanks. Didn’t know if there was a secret out there I should know. Lol
  15. So got my 1969 R611T and the interior is still the original green which I love. There’s a few spots that need touched up from normal wear and I was wondering if there was a place that had that color or if I need to just get it color matched from someplace that sells auto paint? TIA
  16. Haha sorry. I don’t even think there’s a price that I would sell it for.
  17. Yea I’m not changing anything. Don’t see to many winch trucks like this rolling around
  18. Yea I hate riding clutches cause I’m the one that replaces them lol. The seat met its demise at the hands of a couple of raccoons that got in the cab and couldn’t get back out. They died in there but not before they shredded the seat. The seat was probably wore out but not in pieces haha. Luckily everything is metal so they didn’t hurt anything else.
  19. I was told by the owner that this truck is really low geared and that you just took off in low shifted the main through the gears and then shifted to high.
  20. Thanks for the info. I also love this truck lol it was love at first site.
  21. That is exactly what the plaque on the dash looks like. So thank you for posting this.
  22. I’m not to worried about the hornets, nothing some spray can’t take care of. Mine has a Mack 10 speed, it’s a 5 speed and two speed brownie. Not sure what the model of transmission in it is, I’ll have to figure all that out later. Good luck with the work on yours, hopefully I’ll be starting on mine soon.
