Joey I haven’t looked at shop talk for awhile I love your truck. Lucky it has such a knowledgeable owner to look after it, I wish it was mine

Thanks brocky. I should stop being so cheap and up my membership. So is it safe to assume it’s an a model if I’m right about the windshield

I will see if I can get more pictures and try to manage some storage so I can send them. I can’t seem to delete old stuff off this site with my phone

Hard to tell from the 2 pictures it’s in but it is a one piece windshield. What years was the a model in production

A friend sent a picture of a truck he came across to day that looks to me like an LJ with an integral sleeper. It has a one piece windshield, I never noticed one like that before. Unfortunately I can’t seem to delete pics to add more. Any ideas on the one piece windshield

I believe both systems use the same starter. Power to the starter should b the lug on the side of the starter. Neg cable for a positive ground/ pos cable for a negative ground

I have seen but never tried using a piece of copper tubing to protect the hole when extracting a broken bolt. Find one that just fits in the hole then fill to the top with a mig welder. Easy then to weld a nut on

It seems like a compliment to me, I don’t see how it is offensive for someone to ask. Maybe I’m missing something

It is so awesome that you are getting your boy interested in trucks. My son was in my way since he could walk. Now he is 17 and he is the one that comes up with all the smart ideas.
