Figure anything out? Have same issue.

Well did what I could with the connector on cluster, all grounds seem to have continuity, I cleaned all grounds and posts on batteries. Ordered a new cluster and see if the $1500 was worth it. Maybe this prob or topic has been beat to death but joined this forum for advice and seems to be a lack of. Maybe shoulda bought a Pete.

Anyone? Any suggestions?

Dash intermittently loses power, gauges fall and alarm goes on even showing seatbelt light. Harness is good on cluster, ground wire is rerouted on terminal 35 but when I wiggle wire 4 dash goes on n off and it seems to be the fuel gauge wire as that gauge jumps up n down. Question is can that one wire if not making a good contact make the whole cluster do this and seem like a ground issue or is my cluster hooped?
