    My truck is at dealership for oil temp problem and on there 22 point inspection there telling the R&R dosing valve is bad on the def system. About a $1200 repair. Truck has 425000 miles on it and was not throwing a code for this problem. Is this a common repair?

    2013 chu613 with a mp8 the engine oil temp runs nearly 250 degrees with no load on the truck. Already replace the oil temp sensor in the oil pan didn't help. Pulling a load makes the oil temp kick the warning light on.
