Every other label I’ve seen show that the engine model corresponds to the horsepower rating. like model MP8-445E has an advertised HP as 445 or model MP8-415 has advertised HP as 415 but this shows model MP8-415 with advertised HP as 338 could it be a special tune?

So then what is the 338?

I looking at a 2009 pinnacle with the MP8. Ive read that they have between 415 and 505 HP. however this one lists Max HP on the valve cover engine information plate as 338. the model is listed as a MP8-415c anyone know what this means? is it 338 HP or 415? the reason I’m asking is because it doesn’t feel nearly as powerful as my other trucks
