The guy said it was a county truck. Really nice looking truck. Has 125,000 miles and 3000 hours. Not sure if this is actually true but it is a very clean straight looking truck. Thanks for the information.

I got the information on this truck. It is a R686ST, has a 300 Mack motor, 6 speed Mack transmission, 4:17 rears. Would this combination be a good dump truck?

I am looking at a R 300 Mack dump truck. Is the R300 a lighter truck than say a R600. It has 18,000 front axle And 38,000 rears. Any information will be appropriated.

I found out what is wrong with my triplex transmission. I need a 741KBA 1152A gear assembly, a 747KB 347 gear , a 320KB 251 clutch and 3 of a 3AX 839 screws. Does anyone know where I might locate these parts? I have not called Mack yet. They maybe obsolete.

We loosened up the rods and now have the top of the back box off seems that the shift collar on the bottom shaft is the problem. It will move about 1/16 of an inch back and forth. Will check further tomorrow.

It’s the old tri plex in a B61. The shifter will not move when you pull it over to low. The shifter works fine in direct and hi.
-
My Triplex transmission will not go into lo. It shifts from direct to high ok. Any information would be appreciated.

I have a superliner RW713 and I need a new dashboard just wondering if anyone has a source of getting one anymore? Not available from Mack anymore. Any information would be appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone has put air ride front axle on a B61. Just want to smooth out the ride some. Any thoughts would be appropriated.

Thanks I will check out the spring in the lever. The pump shop said they replaced what was needed in the governor. But you know how that goes.

Thanks for the information. This engine wants to surge at idle from 550 up to 800 rpm. The puff limiter would not have anything to do with that would it?
-
Thanks for the replies. I was wondering if it was the puff limiter. But every one I have ever seen had the slave cylinder on the front of the pump. Does it need the valve that usually is connected to the intake manifold?

Have a question about the injector pump on my endt675 engine. I have attached a picture of a fitting between the governor and the pump. Could anyone tell me what this is far? I have a hose connected to it and it is running back to the intake manifold. I don’t think that is correct. I had the pump rebuilt and this is how it was hooked up when I bought the truck. This is a B61 Mack. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information Big Dog!

I need to find the driver side removable fender panel between the fender and hood for a B61.

I just had the injector pump and injectors rebuilt on my ENDT675 engine. We started the engine and it runs fine but it surges from low idle up about 2-300 rpms. once you rev it up to about 1200 it levels out. Is there an adjustment screw anywhere that i might could adjust to correct this? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information. Does anyone have the plate that fits between the fender and the hood on a B61?
-
Thank you for the information. I will check on that tomorrow.
-
Not really sure but I think it’s a single over. Haven’t been able to read the numbers on the transmission so much grease covering it. It has the aluminum box on the back.

I have a b61 with a endt675 engine Tri-plex trans and 6:34 ratio rears. Top speed now about 43 mph at 2100 rpm. What ratio could I go to and Still keep good pulling power and go 60 mph. Pulling a small lowboy and D5 dozer.

I need the left fender panel between the fender and hood on a B61.

Yes I am interested in the panel and the pulley when you get it out of the brush. Probably could make the intake pipe work also.
-
Looking for a crankshaft pulley for a endt 673 engine, also the air intake piping from the air filter to the engine for a 711 engine in a B67. Also the plate between the fender and the hood on the drivers side on the B67.

Ok thanks I will take a look there. I need a crankshaft pulley and I need to know what engine I have. Thanks for the information.
R model dump truck

I have a R 686 dump truck with a300 Mack engine. After sitting for a few days you have to spin it over for a while to get it to start. It’s like it loses its prime on the fuel. Is there a check valve in the line going back to the tank that I could take a look at?
