Hello group. I need some help on my'95 mack r model. E-7 300horse. It was running hot so I replaced the t-stat and did a flush. Test run with t-stat out and still runs hot but only at hwy speed. Putting around the city it runs normal temp. Is it possible that the waterpump isn't doing its job? What would be most suspect? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any suggestions as to why my r model mack e7 300hp would run hot at hwy speed and normal in the city? I changed t-stat and flushed radiator. New viscous fan clutch also. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm by no means a expert but I did have a issue with a small hard plastic line that went from the head to behind the injector pump. It became brittle and started leaking fuel. Replaced it and solved the losing prime issue.

Hello My name is Greg and I'm having a problem with a 1995 dump truck. 300hp E-7 . It runs hot at hwy speeds (º220+) and cools back down in city traffic. If you were a betting person, would you bet on vains on waterpump being erroded or radiator being stopped up. During a engine flush I noticed just a slight increase in water flow at upper rad. Hose from idle to 1800rpm with t-stat removed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
