  1. We are in the logging business and was thinking of upgrading to some newer model trucks and was wondering what everyone's opinions were on certain year models being good or bad. I know 04 & 05 were bad years and I believe 08 was bad but after that I'm somewhat in the dark. We currently run trucks from 99 up to 06 and was also wondering if it would be better to get newer models or rebuild some of these older ones from the ground up? Thank you in advance.
  2. We have been told and learned that there were some bad years for Mack's such as 2004 when they introduced EGR, but they got things straightened out a year or two later for the 2006-2007 years, is this correct? We are in the logging business and run older model trucks and we are trying to move out of the 90's and into the 2000's but want to try and buy trucks in certain years that do not seem to have as many issues which years do ya'll recommend staying away from? Thanks
