  1. We prefer the term Lower Alabama or L.A. Lol.
  2. Not exactly what I was talking about, but interesting. I think the later R models had a headlight bucket that went inside the hole on the hood that then held the bezel and the metal housing, Like these.
  3. Has anyone ever tried to put a R model bucket and bezel in a RD? There is a guy running around here where I an that has 1 R model headlight and 1 RD in the same hood. I haven't been able to catch him stopped to ask him if it was a bolt on thing or if he just stuck it in there to keep the DOT off his back. Any input or ideas on this? I like the look of the old headlight better if I could do this conversion.
  4. Hello everyone, Glad to be on the forum, my first truck was a R model Mack and I've been dabbling with them ever since. I am a Site Contractor in the Florida Panhandle. I just recently purchased another Mack and am excited to start fixing it up. It is a 97' RD with only 70k miles, it is a tri axle dump. I'm sure I'll have some questions as usual. Thanks for all your knowledge. Troy.
