It is supposed to be a complete reman. Head, turbo, cam, injectors and all bolts on parts. A drop in engine I'm told. Air compressor he was unsure of. The dealers who did the work took it in on trade and did all the maintenance. He said he would get me records. It's got a lot of new stuff, I just want to make sure they didn't polish a turd. I don't see many of these out there and that concerns me. My local Mack dealer is unimpressive, to say the least, so that also concerns me, but this truck is nice and the price is good. By the way, I'm not dealing with my local Mack dealer.

I'm looking at a 2005 CH. It has 900000 miles on it but has a factory remaned e7 460, rebuild Mack 13 speed, and rebuilt rear differential. Truck condition looks above average. My question for this group is how good is this engine, can the egr be easily eliminated, How solid is their transmission and is a 3.90 rear gear to fast for this engine to cruise at 70+? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
