Anyone know where the expansion valve is located on a 2010 Mack CHU with a MP8? I feel like Im losing my mind....

My brother had his gauges hooked up to the A/C when we were checking to see if the system had freon. The head pressure would start to build, then as soon as the air purged it went to zero. -

Hey all, have a problem that makes no sense to me. My A/C head pressure goes up to 150lbs then the air purges from the air dryer and I lose all of my head pressure... What the heck? This is a 2010 Mack CHU
