  1. I jumped out the censor for the coolant level this morning, and will run the day see if my shut down warning comes on? Will put me on target for that problem. A friend recommended to pressure test the coolant system if that doesnt work. Thanks wilbur i think i got something like that going on ? before i pull the valve covers, do you know what kinda voltage I should have at the wire to the heads at all switch possitions and what kinda resistance there should be on the jake stud in the head to ground? I'm not sure i eliminated the switch being out of the problem, I have 12.7V at the wire for the jakes at the head no matter the switch possition(bad Switch?). And theres continuity from the stud that goes through the head to the jakes to ground 11 ohmes? Somthing shorted or is this just resistance from the solenoid? Thanks again
  2. Hey out there, first time on this site. looking for some idea's ? i'm all outta the simple stuff. I run a 2002 CH 600 with the 460. Recently i have a very weak and periodically on and off jake brake? My shut down alarm comes on when tugging up a hill or against wind but all temps and pressures are good ? Also electric light will come on every now and then. I've checked my clutch end switch, jake relay behind glove box, Im asuming the switch on the dash for the jakes is working because the brake will flutter on a couple cylinders at around 1200-1400 RPM. Also swapped out a switch from a light, same effect. I cant get the backyard mech. codes from the cruise button trick cause all alarms are off as soon as you back of the throttle for a while. Was hoping to find some obvious, worn wire some thing ? If some one has a place i can start would be appreciatted.
