He's thinking about fixing it up and dropping a one ton bed on it.

I agree with the possible leak in the fuel line somewere. My B can sit all winter and start with no problems. I've used a shop rag and a blow gun and put a few pounds of air in the fuel tanks to force fuel out the lines to find leaks before. Just don't put over 5 pounds in the. Tank or it could rupture.

I'm in need of a new tach cable for my B67. My cable broke last year and I'd like to replace it.
Thanks

Larry I had a good time at the show too. I think your truck and trailer would have made a nice addition to the show. Maybe next year you'll bring it out.
On the way home I headed down 480, sounds like that was a good choice. The road was wide open.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was just enjoying the ride home from the show and even got a few thumbs up from the passing cars .
Thanks again

I was headed home from the Piston Power Show at the IX Center in Cleveland Ohio and thought I'd take a short video of my 1959 B-67 cruising down the highway.
Enjoy

Tom's B-Model has Pittsburgh roots. It spent it's 1st career as a DeBolt company truck. If you get a chance to see it you'll see his family has done a 1st class restoration on the truck.
Ray thanks for the complement. I had a good time restoring the truck but I'll tell you it is more fun to drive. I sure get alot of looks hauling our steamer around with the old girl.
Thanks everyone for checking out my video and for the comments.

A friend of mine is thinking about buying a fire truck for parades. It is a B model with a open cab and a hemi engine. What things should he be looking for? What is a possible price range for this kind of truck? He said the owner told him it was solid but needs restored. It was runnung but has not run for some time now. The truck is 6 hours away and he hopes to check it out soon.
thanks for the help

I have a B-67 I like it but I'm only 5ft 7 and 170lbs. I fit in it pretty good. The engine sits a a slight angle and is under the cab which doe's make it alittle harder to work on. GOOD LUCK with your hunt for a B.
