  2. I did. He did not respond. After i turned down his offer he offered me his 68 camaro. I declined on that too. Ive been offered a few nice cars but like i said i have my eye on one. I emailed the guy and told him. Maybee it was an impulse buy on his part because he did not respond.. idk.. internet world isnt the real world sometimes...
  3. My biggest problem is i moved from MD to PA. I have a large garage but it doesnt fit..too hi. I dont want to just see her sitting outside. I have an opertunity to buy a damn nice 56 f100 also but but need to sell the Mack to buy the 56. Multiple reasons for the sale.
  4. Yes it is. Still looks good as the day it was finished but only has 6k miles since completed. Chopped..tubbed..shaved. The motor is a 350 4 bolt built to .30 over 1970 lt1 350 specs. Trans is 700r4.

  6. I was offered 20k on ebay as a best offer 1st time i listed it. I shoulda taken it but i had just put it on market so i thought id hold out for more. Im not worried. It will happen.

  9. Its not an easy sell but itll happen. It is mostly restored. The only think not restored is the ibterior. Recover the seats.. repaint dash..bot that its bad..and seat frames. Redo weather strip on side windows and install a sunvisor. Then the trucks completely restored. Its not far away. It could be done in a weeks time with 1000 dollars or less.
  10. Im going to advertise in Wheels of Time. Everyones been telling me its a good market to sell in. I wont take 15,000 its too low. Seen many B61 go for more than that in worse shape. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

  18. I just looked at the build sheet from Mack on my truck. It says "carrier ratio 5.77. Does that sound right? I have the build sheet. Shows all the same numbers for engine..trans..rear..and shows the saddle tank. Let me know if this answer helps.

  20. I like running it at 50mph. 55 is ok also but 50 is easier at about 1600 rpm.

  22. First i want to say thank you to BMT for letting me post this here. Hi.. I am trying to sell my 1956 Mack B71. It runs and drives excellent. It has the original Cummins 220 and the original Duplex 10 speed trans. It has a catwalk saddle tank. The body is restored..brakes and tires are all new. The valves are adjusted and all fluids changed. Its ready for you. I am motivated to sell because i have my eyes on another truck. It is also listed on ebay but i am taking offers..do t be shy please make me an offer.I want to sell it soon.
