  1. There hasn't been any work done on the transmission. We ended up getting a reman transmission put back in it. The shop got it done in a day. Cost too much though! Now if we could get better fuel mileage out of the truck we would be doing good. 5 mpg is about all we get pulling a 53' van with normal loads weighing 40,000 #'s.
  2. We have a 05 Mack CXN613 with the Mack AC355/380 engine and a Fuller 10 Speed. Our driver was going down the road and heard a loud clunking noise and he said the truck ran out of power so he got out and the transmission was smoking. Repair shop looked at it and said that there were only a few bolts left on the backend of transmission holding the plate on. All the oil drained out and so the bearings tore up. My question is what could of caused this and is this something common? And advice/help is apreciated!
