thinking of selling my mack R turbo 300 6spd twin stick this is a great truck and I do love it. i take care of this truck and have done all the work myself because i don't trust any shops to do the work and they wouldn't have done exactly what I wanted or how i wanted everything done thing I've replaced in the last year double framed. two 9'5" frame rail inserts 3 new peterbult style cross members new 44k trunnion FROM stengelbros two new leaf springs with one extra leaf then stock new air compressor and governor and added a AD9 air dryer all new air lines fittings and hoses front to back pintle hitch new fithwheel all new tires tires all around replaced june 20th there is so many things i am forgetting if you have any more questions please feel free to email me alionetti13 @ Gmail . c o m

i have 1 62-109s leaf spring. the spring has no cracks and is not broken. its serves me no good because i've upgraded to 62-139s. I've been waiting to do a dump run and have this spring sitting in my shop. a buddy of my keeps telling me to post this and not scrap it because it just might help someone out. let me know if anyone might be interested or if i should just scrap it.

i don't know pat, i bought this truck from a guy in PA. the truck was from CT to start with i know that much. i do have some of the history of the truck. but as of work I've done my self was. full duel wet kit, pintle hitch, new rear springs, new trennion 44k not like the stock 38k, i double frame added an extra crossmembers, torque rods, all new ujoints, added air dyer new shocks all around all new motor mounts, insulators, bolts, recaps in the rear, new fronts 60k miles on all tires, new alternator, 4 new batteries, new turbo, all new belts, new steering wheel, all new air cans shoes and a lot of new lines, there are a ton of things I've missing. about to click 400k will get hours tomorrow. but here is the thing. I'm in love with this truck. I've taken every bolt off and put a new one on (well a good 85%) and I'm stuck in a rock and a hard place. now this truck its back up and running stronger then ever. its my baby I'm thinking of getting another truck to put to work with me but i don't trust anyone driving it. so do i sell it and move on or keep it because I'm so far into it?? the next truck I'm looking at is a superliner with a cumins 400 mack 12sp. she need a little TLC but not to bad. the other truck is a 03westernstar 500cumins 13spd. both really nice trucks but but i don't know what to do.

hello everyone, thinking about selling my R model or upgrading the trans maybe had a few questions for you guy: what are fully restored R's going for now day? on a 300turbo motor what trannys will be a straight bolt up? (it have a twin stick 6now) truck has full wet kit pintle hitch buds just put new rear springs new trennion i double framed the truck all new motor mounts insulators blots sway bars and a ton more with tons of paperwork i do love the tuck but I'm a little lost in what I'm trying to do with it as of now i have my price in my head just want to see what you guys say. thanks, Al
