Some actually had a hatch in the roof for the driver to crawl out of if both sides were loaded and the doors were unable to be opened.

Looks good Larry.

It was a sign for a driving school. I don't know if the school is still open anymore but the truck has been there for years.

It was a courtesy switch that let you blink the headlights when another truck passed and flash your trailer lights when you were passing.

Need a round 70 gallon fuel tank for a F model mack 39" long and 24" high. Will take 2 if you have aluminum.

I'm going to use it for show. I haven't brought it home yet I figure next month or early March when the wheather is a little better. The owners said it has never seen salt so I want to try and keep it that way. It's in the garage up there and they said it's not in the way so I'll fly up and drive it home in a few weeks.

Tom's B-Model has Pittsburgh roots. It spent it's 1st career as a DeBolt company truck. If you get a chance to see it you'll see his family has done a 1st class restoration on the truck.

you are looking for something that is really hard to find and is bad on most of the B's I have seen. That is why they go crazy on ebay when one comes up....I don't know of a good substitute and yes, the rubber is available thru Barry at Watt's but that is even crazy $$$$... around $200 for just the rubber if my memory is correct. wish I had better
Back when the B's were still in service most of them were missing the vent widow latches. They would get really hard to turn and then snap off. Good luck and if you do find a set keep them well oiled.

I bought F795ST 1085, from Pittsburgh Mack, in March of 71. Wasn't to far behind yours on the line.
