    thank you mrsmackpaul i never thought of a plumbing check valve in the short hose that is brilliant and will work just fine. i love mack engines but it is necessary sometimes to simplify their engineering to work in modern times!

    i forgot to mention i had a bad oil leaking turbo and discovered the check valve problem while cleaning the turbine.my engine is an etaz-673 in an r612 dumptruck

    are tip turbine check valves still available and if so does anyone have a part number. my appears to be wore out
