This is interesting to me because I have a truck doing the same thing. I know my batteries are not real good, due to sitting, and I assumed the generator was trying to fully charge the batteries since all I do is throw a quick charge on them prior to starting. This makes me think in a different direction.

Not being negative, sarcastic, or bashing, but this thread reminds me of the situations I've faced numerous times. Do I keep it original or modernize? Just remember the old cliche, "Speed cost, how fast do you want to go?". I just run the backroads and don't worry about it. 

Geoff, I think I would give Coker Tire Co. a call to see if they have any info. They would know if anyone does.

In 56, IH tilted the Cummins engine to lower the height of the High Binder.

You should have called corporate customer service to begin with. My sister was having problems with her car. It had been to the dealership about three times without fixing it. I called corporate and commenced to use profanity. The fellow told me to calm down that he knew what was wrong with the car and ask me when I could have it at the dealership. I dropped it off at the dealership at 8 am, picked it up at 10 am. Never had another problem with the car.

Just curious, what if you put something under the bottom tray, 1/4 plywood, plastic, or maybe piece of aluminum for the trays to set on.

I'll bet he's looking for someone to look at or pick up a KW bullnose COE. Just a guess.

Jim, Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery. Didn't break my leg but been there and done that on the rest of your problems and I'm still kick'n. Just not as high.

Bob, You're right about the P-bilts and Kw's. As a buddy of mine says, "if you've seen one, you've seen them all".

Brocky, You're right about the Macungie show.

Brocky, I remember very well. I jumped from the ATHS to JOT when Eddy first brought it online. I was an ATHS member for several years and finally got aggravated and didn't renew my membership.

Odog, I'm not familiar with the Reno show site but one thing I've noticed is there seems to be a lot more people out west who want to show both the truck and trailer rather than just the tractor. Maybe it's a west coast thing. Here's an ariel shot of the Lexington show with over 900 trucks.

Brocky, Don't forget about the ATHS forum that got abandoned and went away.

Bob, I'm sorry you had a bad experience at the ATHS show. I've been to 5 or 6 of them, got to show trucks at one, and they have all been good for me. I go to see the trucks, admire the craftsmanship, and get ideas for my trucks. I don't go to socialize and tell war stories. I've run into people at the shows that I know simply because I've conversed with them on this forum or on the JOT forum and knew they were going to be there. I've had several cups of coffee that left a bad taste in my mouth, but I still suck down a couple of cups every morning. Don't let one bad cup of coffee spoil a good time for you. I've been to Macungie 3 or 4 times, and I've enjoyed each show. I probably enjoyed Macungie a little more simply because it was more compact and required less walking to see the trucks. I'd love to make Macungie this year but it's 18 hours round trip.

Wow Odog, Zina has got you plum domesticated. If you are doing the house cleaning, I'd say you've become a domestic goddess. LOL

There's a lot of B models around here. Most are family heirlooms that their dad or granddad drove. Families won't turn loose of them because they are memories of days gone by and it means something to them.

What's wrong with Kentucky? Us hillbilly's have trucks.
