  1. we have a 743 nhb with a single disc pump its skipping like crazy and loads of fuel in oil, its not fuel dribble, there is way to much fuel in oil to be that, pulled #1,2 , injector copper sleeve might be cracked, i would like to pull them out but i dont want to destroy them . have motors manuals coming out my ears and none of them have 'how to' also have tons of cummings manuals also no" how to". single dics pump also has oil preasure feed to it wondering if seals might be bad , engine is running on 3 maybe 4 cylinders, 1,5,6 not working going to try to mve injectors to other cylinder to see if the skip will follow ,but its not easy as rocker boxes have to come off with each move, the external fuel lines are in good shape as are the tubes from the outside of the head to the injector dont really want to pull pan off and preasurize fuel system but i am almost sure i am going to have to

  7. well, bob doubs old n model is going up for sale on e-bay , man does it look bad, 12 years of sitting outside have done a number on it. that truck started life as afire truck in hicksville ny. as a light and generator truck, bob found it for sale and had me do a complete restoration on it. even though it had alot of ford parts on it some were made just for the mack cab , we bought a whole truck just for the fiberglass grill that is painted white. the ford version was different. interior still looks good , but hte outside looks bad, so much for that great old kirker paint. i have not used that stuff since that job, just doesnt hold up like PPG. hope somebody picks this up for a song , bob hade over 45k in this . had a brand new harness made by dill products and also a new exaust system made by donaldson, the truck made its last appearance at rodger gerharts in 96.bobs old b-model went to ILL. i think . hope it gets a new life not many around,
  8. we do use a small chisel to get them going and then use a wood splitting mall after , then because of the length of some of the rails we start pounding in 4x4s watch out when they finally come out they are heavy and you will be suprized at the amount of rust. sandblast .etch prime, paintand reasemble them with large alignmet punches and c clamps. some times we do re rivet ,or cheat and use bolts with the head rounded off
  9. Some of our latest projects. A BFI/Allied Waste dumpster body B-Model and a 1946 212 CAT grader.
