  1. Well finally got around to checking on the truck again. Unplug the sensor and it changes to 2. Clear the code and sometimes it comes right back and sometimes it has to be driven a little before the code comes back. I'm thinking maybe something to do with the egr??
  2. Thanks but I work for a big corporate company and they deal with P.O.'s So they wouldn't buy something from someone like him. If the harness is bad they would just buy another harness from Mack.
  3. I will try that and see what happens. We just replaced the harness a couple of weeks ago. As we know of the crap harnesses they have.
  4. Thanks for the info. I have the book with all the codes and possible causes in them and have done everything it says to do to the truck and the code still comes back.
  5. I'm not sure which it is but it does have both the sensors. One mounted right on the intake and the other one mounted on the tube coming from the cooler.
  6. Yeah i did the learn data reset it didnt help at all. 005603#
  7. It is 2 not 5 my bad. I ordered the sensor from the Mack dealer and with the vin. The part number for the sensor they sent us is 0281002743 Does that look right? The code is makeing the derate engine and the driver is crying a river over it. I called the Mack dealer that we deal with and talked to someone is service who was supose to look up something about after you replace the sensor the truck has to meet some kind of drive conduction or the code wont go away. Not sure about that as he never called me back> Go figure
  8. Ill have to look the code up again this afternoon when the truck gets back in but if i remember right it is 128 105 5 I have the vcads/ptt software on my laptop. And have the code book and did what the code book says to do to troubelshoot the problem. Replace the sensor the harness and swapped in another known good ecm. Im thinking it is not electrical but not sure where to look. Yeah im not big on being a parts changer id rather find the problem and fix it right ive already put alot of money into this problem with the harness and sensor. Thanks
  9. Thank you very much. if it would be better for him to call me let me know
  10. Maybe two weeks ago, we know of this problem with the harness that is why we went ahead and changed it,not the first one we have changed. As we have a fleet of about 15 macks with the mp7
