......B-62 with the 673 diesel.......
I thought a B-62 was a gas engine. Did you do an engine swap? Or do I stand to be corrected?

Looks great Mike!

I spent many summers throwing and loading hay bales for our horses. I remember one summer day my cousin was with me and help with the hay. He was two years older and much stronger than me. He was a city boy, but more of a gym rat/body builder type. I remember he was about useless. He couldn't throw a bale for nothing! I learned that day that there is more technique and skill to throwing bales than just muscle. You have to be able to leverage yours legs, knees, forearms etc to help offset the weight of the 50 lbs (or up to 90lbs) bales and sling them around. Man I don't miss those days.

I really wish they made a single OD Allison instead the top two are both OD and you just dont need that it would help the torque multiplication to go with a 1:1 top gear and a 3:65 - 3:86 rear ratio or go with a single OD and a 4:42 - 4:64 rear. none the less the Allison is the way to go if you get into congested traffic and off road situations all day.
I know Allison's come in different flavors. For instance, an MD3060 has different gear ratios than a MD3560. I am not sure about the double overdrive, but they were designed for the different speeds/power of buses vs dumps for instance.

I have heard that they have started removing all the agriculture displays from the smithsonian. There is a wallis tractor that we have been trying to get information about for quite some time but nobody will respond. I wouldn't be surprised if the AC is moth-balled away in some corner somewhere and not out on display either.
It makes me very sad to know that one of the greatest musuems does not care about the preservation of our agricultural and trucking history.

Pleasantville
ok that too!

I did kinda like the blue, too...the black/gray looks good too, kinda reminiscent watching a black & white TV....but with a splash of color thrown in for spice. What was that movie where they did that?
Schindler's List? Roger Rabbit? Ah Ha - Take On Me music video?

+1 for positive consensus. Would love to see more!

Cool bike. Honda VTX, right? 1800? I have a Kawasaki Mean Streak which is similar. They are an awful lot of fun, plenty of power, and don't come with the HD price tag. (not that I am an HD hater)
This weekend? We had a community yard sale so I sold off a bunch of junk. Then went to the Indianapolis Zoo with the family on Sunday.

Hate to see you do that. There are lots of good parts on that truck. I just don't have the time or resources to get down there to rescue them from the scrapper in 5 days.
