I have heard that theory before, but it was a long time ago. Don't know if it still is an issue. I would think not.

Has to do with the belts getting a metal fatigue from sitting over a long period.

The other thing about it if I recall was if the tire was changed, and not rotating in the same direction would weaken.

I was contacted a while ago by someone that wanted a White 3000 transported out of the Appomatox area. I suspect it would be this one. I never heard anything more about it, so I figure te deal fell through.

Also I was at the L&H auction, and the WC 28TD Jumbo Cab came home with me. There are only 6 Jumbo Cabs left that we are aware of, so it's a rare truck.

I have several things to finish on it, but I've had it out some the last couple years. Fun to drive as long as I can drive it when I feel like it, and put it away until the next time.

You have a COE KW on your avitar. Tell us about it. We didn't see many Kenworths on the east coast before about the early seventies, so some of the older ones are rare to see.
