I have heard that theory before, but it was a long time ago. Don't know if it still is an issue. I would think not. Has to do with the belts getting a metal fatigue from sitting over a long period. The other thing about it if I recall was if the tire was changed, and not rotating in the same direction would weaken.

Interesting thread. I was contacted a while ago by someone that wanted a White 3000 transported out of the Appomatox area. I suspect it would be this one. I never heard anything more about it, so I figure te deal fell through. Also I was at the L&H auction, and the WC 28TD Jumbo Cab came home with me. There are only 6 Jumbo Cabs left that we are aware of, so it's a rare truck.

Thanks K-Wopper I have several things to finish on it, but I've had it out some the last couple years. Fun to drive as long as I can drive it when I feel like it, and put it away until the next time.
