  1. There was a plug on the side of the pump that was removed with a 12 mm socket. Sprayed pb blaster up into the rack. The back of the pump has an access cover I took off and was able and sprayed pb plaster in and work a rod back and forth. the main fix seemed to be taking another cover off the front of the pump. There was a rod in there I sprayed with pb and then took a screw driver and pushed the rod back. It made a clicking sound. The fuel shut off starting moving fully. ‘Started it up and it began to idle well and the shutoff worked.
  2. The back of the block is stamped E6-315-0115312. I would post a pic but don’t have room for more attachments and can’t delete any
  3. I year later update. Over the past week or so I got it running. The injection pump fuel rack was stuck but finally got that moving. Runs pretty good. its E6 315 2v with 5 speed Mack .
  4. I was able to get it unstuck. Runs pretty good
  5. I have a f700 with a E6 315 2 valve engine. The fuel rack seems to be stuck wide open. The fuel cut off does not work its a bosh pump 9-400-231-051. Also part number 6p036 among others. The fuel rack does not have an access plate. There is a cover on the rear and top of the governor but neither gives much access to the internals. Any ideas how to free this thing up? suggestions on shops that could rebuild it? thank you
  6. I have several military trucks running 20 inch. Very aware of the cost and difficulty. I’m looking for two 22.5 daytons for my Mack f712
  7. How can you tell? Is there a data plate on the engine anywhere? Is the 300 cool power considered a Maxindyne? thanks for the info.
  8. The cab is fairly decent. Are you familiar with the truck?
  9. Odd thing is it currently has 4 22.5 inch wheels and 2 20 inch wheels . One side or the rear duals is mismatched. Front has one 22.5 and one 20

  18. I looked on the left side of the trans. Cleaned with a wire brush and brake cleaner and still could not find anything in this area
  19. Do you have a wider angle to give a better idea of where this is?
  20. How can I determine what trans is in my 1970 MB? It is a twin stick. I searched the site and found some info about the type being on the left side. Nothing that I can find there. the right side has some casting numbers and the date 1/7/70 284KB 5122A. On the side.
  21. That is the plan. She will be an Overnite for sure. Love the big O
