gday im new here from west Australia bought a 1976 r600 mack awesome truck I use it to haul logs for my furniture business and I was actually wondering what sort of oil to put in it it is a maxidyne engine seems to burn a lot of oil... any help would be appreciated thanks adam

some old truckie came up to me at servo and said something about putting charcoal oil in my old mack I cant seem to find out about it it is burning oil and just wondering if anyone has a suggestion about what to put in it ps) new truckie still a lot to learn...

yeah gday mate it's at a auction and they dont tell you anything about it i think its a R 686 and it has two gear boxes i dont know much about trucks but i like the old style look -
