this engine has a jake brake system now should this cam be used with the jake brake system or should a different cam be used. Also thanks for the explanation, I have not been able to get anyone to explain it that well.

Can any explain to me exhaust ramp, I have a 1996 E7 400 I ran the overhead and all is fine but at certain points in the duration the exhaust clearence goes to .110. I am used to Cummins and to the best of my knowledge this is not the case but I have talked to some Mack mechanics and they say mater of factly that this is exhaust ramp up but I get no good explanation as to why and if .110 is a normal clearance for the short duration time. thanks, Frank.
